Huzzah all Floyd Family

Thanks to all who gathered to honor Captain Charles Floyd (1747–1820), a Revolutionary War patriot who led the St. Helena Guards, served on South Carolina’s First Council of Safety, and wore the “Liberty or Death” silver crescent. We celebrated his legacy with family fun, laughter, and shared memories!

This reunion held extra significance as it followed closely on the heels of April 19, 2025, marking the 250th anniversary of the American Revolutionary War’s beginning with the Battles of Lexington and Concord in Massachusetts.

We loved seeing everyone as we honored 250 years of American independence and the Floyd family’s place in it! Going forward, if you are still receiving your invitation by mail but would consider or prefer to have your invitation emailed to you, please let us know.
