Huzzah all Floyd Family
The 2026 reunion held extra significance as it marked the 250th anniversary of the signing of the American Declaration of Independence.
We gathered to honor our Revolutionary War Patriot, Captain Charles Floyd (1747–1820), a who led the St. Helena Guards, served on South Carolina’s First Council of Safety, and wore the “Liberty or Death” silver crescent.
Thanks to all who gathered as we honored 250 years of American independence and the Floyd family’s place in it! Going forward, if you are still receiving your invitation by mail but would consider or prefer to have your invitation emailed to you, please let us know.
